Separately, both Wikipedia's Tivat Airport article and Wikivoyage's Budva "Get in" section describe the airport as roughly 20 kilometers from Budva; that figure is the one commonly used in travel planning, but this research did not turn up an independently verified road driving-time in minutes, so treat "about 20 km" as an estimate rather than a precise number. Podgorica Airport (TGD) is about 65 kilometers from Budva; per Wikivoyage, a bus between Podgorica and Budva costs around €7, and a taxi runs €50–100 (agree a fixed price before riding). Dubrovnik Airport, in neighboring Croatia, is about 80 kilometers away, with a taxi to Budva quoted around €90 by the same source.

By bus, once in Budva. In summer, Mediteran Express runs shuttle buses from just outside Budva's old town to Jaz Beach roughly every two to three hours, per Wikivoyage. This is the documented public-transit option; this research did not verify specific fares or an off-season schedule.

Sea Dance Festival ran at Jaz Beach in mid-to-late July from 2014 through 2017, then moved to Buljarica Beach and ran in late August from 2018 through 2022, then skipped Montenegro for Croatia in 2023. It returned to Budva 28–31 August 2026, but at Bečići Beach — not Jaz — with Boris Brejcha headlining and free entry via registration; the festival hasn't used Jaz Beach itself since 2017.
